The 16-player list includes an opportunity for Panagiotis Kalaitzakis - who plays for Lietkabelis in Lithuania - and Kostas Gontikas of FIBA Europe Cup participants Ionikos to potentially earn their senior debuts.

Vassilis Kavvadas is the most experienced player of the squad in terms of international caps and was part of the Greek team that competed in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Victoria, Canada earlier this summer.
20-year-old forward Nikos Rogkavopoulos is also included again with the chance to earn more experience with the senior team as they look to secure their spot at another World Cup.
