    Which teams can clinch World Cup Qualification tickets and how in Window 4 of Asian Qualifiers

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) - Here’s a quick breakdown of which teams can already lock up their spots at the World Cup, what they have to do, and which teams will still have to wait for the next windows.

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) - For the remaining teams, Advancing to the Second Round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers means that they are one step closer to World Cup qualification.

    However, as the records of each team carries on from the First Round, some teams are a bit closer to securing their ticket than others. At this point of the competition, only three teams will be able to secure tickets to the World Cup from Window 4.

    As you would expect, it’s not exactly that easy for the teams in question. Here’s a quick breakdown of which teams can already lock up their spots at the World Cup, what they have to do, and which teams will still have to wait for the next windows.

    New Zealand will qualify if

    New Zealand wins both games AND India loses 1 game AND Saudi Arabia loses both games [/unordered]

    Lebanon will qualify if

    Lebanon wins both games AND India loses both games AND Saudi Arabia loses both games [/unordered]

    The Philippines have already qualified as co-hosts of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

    Jordan, India, and Saudi Arabia cannot clinch qualification in Window 4.
