DAKAR (Senegal) - Window 2 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers came to a close on Sunday in Dakar with some incredible individual performances.

While there's been a number of eye-catching individual displays in Dakar, some were just too good to go unnoticed.

In no particular order, here's the list of Top Performers from Day 3 of Window 2 of the African Qualifiers:

    Makram Ben Romdhane (Tunisia)

Reigning AfroBasket MVP Makram Ben Romdhane powered Tunisia for their second win in three games with his best display in the tournament so far.

Tunisia defeated Rwanda 65-51 to improve to 2-1 in Group B, and the Benfica Lisbon player made his name heard.

The 32-year-old power forward was almost perfect from the field, finishing with a 9-for-10 shooting en route to a game-high 20 points. The three-time African champion was one rebound shy of double-double after grabbing nine rebounds while disrupting the Rwanda's offense with five steal before signing out with an Efficiency rating of 31.

    Anyiarbany Makoi (South Sudan)

By the time Anyiarbany Makoi fouled out with four minutes left, his job was already done as South Sudan closed their first three games for the a spot in next year's FIBA Basketball World Cup with a 74-68 triumph over Cameroon.

The 1.93m ( 6ft 4in) guard made 10 of his 12 Field-Goals, he was 4-for-6 from the foul line to go with a game-high 25 points and  grabbed 7 rebounds to help South Sudan improve to 3-0 at the end of Window 2 of the African Qualifiers.

The 21-year-old finished with a an Efficiency rating of 28.

    Anas Mahmoud (Egypt)

For the second time in three games, Egypt center Anas Mahmoud was a rebound shy of a double-double in Sunday's 62-51 victory over DR Congo.

Mahmoud had an an Efficiency rating of 18 thanks to his 16 points, 9 rebounds and 1 steal in 32 minutes of action.

The Zamalek star made 8 of his 14 Field Goals, while impacting the game at both ends of the floor, leaving the Congolese helpless for most of the contest.

    Youssoupha Ndoye (Senegal)

After a subpar performance in Saturday's 62-57 defeat to DR Congo, where he contributed no more than 7 points and 4 rebounds, Senegal center Youssoupha Ndoye bounced back with a terrific display.

The 2.12m (6ft 11in) center was unstoppable as he ignited Senegal to a 100-55 annihilation of Kenya.

With 21 points and 11 rebounds, Ndoye who recorded an Efficiency rating of 24, logged his second double-double in two games.

    Jordan Bayehe (Cameroon)

Cameroon may have lost their second game in three, but they certainly won a new talent in Jordan Bayehe, who made his debut with the Lions at 2021 AfroBasket Qualifiers.

The more playing time he 22-year-old has, the more he justifies his selection.

In Sunday's 74-68 defeat to high-flying South Sudan, the 2.06m (6ft 9in) forward was an X factor for Cameroon while shooting 5-for-7 from the floor, converting 11 of his 12 Free-Throws attempts to rightly post a team-high Efficiency rating of 20.
