Russia get back on track with convincing win over Bosnia and Herzegovina

PERM (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers) - Russia bounced back from Friday's defeat to France in style as they beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 70-53.

The home side were able to avenge their loss in November as they recorded their second home win of Group E with a convincing display.

Turning point: Russia produced a strong third quarter effort as they outscored the visitors 21-6 to establish a commanding lead and were able to repel the electric display of Dzanan Musa - who finished with a game-high 26 points in the losing effort.

Game hero: Captain Vitaly Fridzon top scored with 16 points on 6 of 10 shooting from the floor as well as adding 8 rebounds to a side that had been out-rebounded in each of its first three games.

Stats don't lie: While Musa excelled with 26 points, there was no other scorer in double figures for Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Russia were boosted by a balanced attack as five players hit 10+ points.

Bottom line: The result leaves both sides at 2-2 heading into the final window as they both face games against France and Belgium to close out the First Round.
