Fans can now get tickets for Philippines-Japan rematch

MANILA (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers) - Tickets for the next Philippines-Japan Asian Qualifiers game are now ready for reservation according to the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP).

Gilas Pilipinas will be hosting the Akatsuki Five on 25 February 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Details on ticket prices and availability have been released by the SBP and can be found here.

Japan are looking to avenge the 77-71 defeat they suffered at the Filipinos' hands last November in Tokyo, and the Akatsuki Five are aiming at improving their win-loss record after going 0-2 in the first window.

The Philippines and Japan are both in Group B together with Australia and Chinese Taipei. The top three teams in the group after the first three windows will advance to the second round of the Asian Qualifiers, where the top seven countries will earn berths to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China.
