China are currently at fifth place in Group E, and though they are already assured of playing at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 by virtue of being hosts, it's still important for them to do well in the Asian Qualifiers, which serves as one of their main preparations for the quadrennial competition.

Yi and Guo are expected to form a potent 1-2 punch for China as they take on Syria and Lebanon. Joining them are veterans Wang Zhelin, Zhai Xiaochuan and Zhou Peng, while rising stars Abudushalamu Abudurexiti and Sun Minghui.
The Chinese begin their fifth window fixtures by hosting Syria on 29 November and then taking on Lebanon on 3 December.
