    BUENOS AIRES (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers) – Sergio Hernandez defined today the 12 players that will represent Argentina in the next window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers.

    The list includes 11 of the 12 players that participated in the June-July window, where the Argentinians closed the First Round of the Qualifiers with a 5-1 record.

    After averaging 18 points and 7.6 rebounds in 5 games, Luis Scola will be a force in the paint for the team against two well-known adversaries in Mexico and Puerto Rico.

    Facundo Campazzo, who leads the team in assists with 9.5 assists per game, will set the tone for Sergio Hernandez’s team in the point guard position.

    Laprovittola, Delia, Saiz and Fjellerup have perfect attendance with the team in the Qualifiers.

    Argentina will travel on September 9 to the Mexican capital and the full team will begin preparations for the window the next day, under the watchful eyes of Sergio Hernandez and his coaching staff.

    On September 14, Argentina will face Mexico at the Gimnasio Olimpico Juan de la Barrera. After that, Argentina will travel back to the Argentinian city of Formosa to host Puerto Rico on September 17 at the Polideportivo Cincuentenario.
