    Campazzo, Scola highlight Argentina's 15-player list for Qualifiers

    BUENOS AIRES (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers) – Head Coach Sergio Hernandez confirmed Argentina’s 15-player pool for the games against Panama and Uruguay in the third window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers.

    Facundo Campazzo appears on the preliminary pool and could add a spark to the point guard position of the Argentinian team. Campazzo last played for Argentina in the FIBA AmeriCup 2017, where the team captured the Silver Medal and he was selected to the All-Star Team of the tournament.

    Team captain Luis Scola appears on the list, and is expected to add the 15.7 points and 7.7 rebounds he averages after three games of the Qualifiers.

    Among the 15 players are Nicolas Lapprovittola, Lucio Redivo, Marcos Delia, Javier Saiz and Maximo Fjellerup, who have featured in all 4 games of Argentina during Americas Qualifiers.

    During the June-July window, Argentina will host Panama in San Juan and will search for the same result as in their first encounter, when the celebrated in Panama City 68-59.

    The Argentinians will then travel to Montevideo, where they will try to avenge the 88-83 loss suffered against Uruguay in Olavarria.
