With eight players who featured in the fourth window of the qualifiers in Nigeria last September set to return, head coach Abou Ndiaye combined experienced, promising and established players in an attempt to improve from their Group F's 7-2 mark.

Jules Richard Aw, a 32-year-old forward who last represented Senegal at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2006, is joined by rising star Youssoupha Fall.

In the Ivoirian city of Abidjan, the Senegalese - who need a more win to return to the World Cup for the second time in a row - will go up against Mali, Nigeria and Rwanda from February 22-24.
