Tall Blacks' coach Tab Baldwin is philosophical about Sean Marks' decision stay in international basketball retirement. The San Antonio Spurs forward has decided to spend time with his family after finishing his NBA season, instead of going to August's FIBA World Champs.
Baldwin says he was never really confident Marks would play, and says the decision falls into the category of "you can't miss what you don't have." Baldwin says all the rest of his overseas based players are available for selection.
In the NBA Eastern Conference finals, Miami is now 2-1 up against Detroit. The Heat won game three 96-83 at home.
Game four of the best of seven series is in Detroit on Tuesday.
