MIAMI (United States) – FIBA Americas' National Federations Department has announced the staging of the FIBA 3x3 Caribbean Development Camp and Cup, a comprehensive event held in conjunction with the Olympic Solidarity Program, designed to strengthen the region's high-performance plan and continue driving the growth of 3x3 basketball across Caribbean nations. Over four days of intense activity, participants will engage in a full schedule that includes:
Training sessions for U23 players of both genders
Referee clinics
Development activities for coaches
Workshops for managers and coordinators
A clinic and youth tournament for U15 players
The sessions will cover topics such as technical fundamentals, skill development, tactical training, physical conditioning, and rule updates, providing an ideal environment for learning and fostering emerging talent. As part of the program, an official FIBA 3x3 competition for men and women will take place on December 11 and 13, featuring teams from the Cayman Islands, Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, and host nation Bahamas.
