TEL AVIV (Israel) - Israel has announced their 12-man roster ahead of FIBA EuroBasket 2025, following their final preparation game against Montenegro on Sunday.
Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija leads the squad, which won three of its five tune-up games ahead of EuroBasket, as they look to this squad to guide them past the Round of 16 - something they have not achieved in the last two editions.

This will be Israel's 31st FIBA EuroBasket appearance, and a success is long-awaited. Their only spot on the podium came with second place in 1979, but they have struggled since. They haven't reached the Semi-Finals for 46 years.
However, with Avdija and a reliable and well-balanced supporting cast, Israel is sure to aim higher this time.
Israel will head to Katowice, Poland, to face Belgium, France, Iceland, hosts Poland, and Slovenia in Group D action.
They will begin their campaign against Iceland on August 28 at 14:00 CET.
