    Crocs now go 23-0 in all editions of the competition

    ULAANBAATAR (Mongolia)- Australia completed a four-peat, thus becoming the first team to win four FIBA Asia U16 Asia Cup titles with a 85-58 win over China in the gold medal game of the 2025 edition at the M Bank Arena on Sunday.

    The win helped the Crocs stretch their unbeaten to streak to a 23-0 run in the history of the competition.

    Luke Paul provided the star turn for the Aussies sparking a searing offensive run that broke open the evenly keeled game.

    Paul, who deservingly went on to be named the MVP of the competition accounted for 16 of his team’s points in the quarter and of his 26 for the game in closing quarter helping Australia leave China gasping.

    The Western Australia guard also pulled down 10 rebounds missing the tournament’s first triple-double by one assist.

    Paul’s fellow Al-Star 5 winner William Hamilton capped off a memorable tournament with 16 points.

    Zhang Yizhaojie led China with 13 points, 12 of them coming in the first three quarters.
