CANBERRA (NBL) - Australia Post Boomer and reigning National Basketball League MVP Sam Mackinnon will suit up for the Maroochydore Clippers in Queensland on Monday.

The 2006 Gaze Medal recipient will play for the Under 16 boy’s rep side as part of the Whose Locker Is It? promotion run by Australia Post in association with Basketball Australia.

Adam McMahon of Palm Woods, which is located two hours north of Brisbane, successfully guessed the player whose locker was pictured on the BA website, www.basketball.net.au.

The prize was to have ‘an Australia Post Boomer for the day’ and that expectation included having the Boomer play in the winner’s local club or school side.

"I’m up for it," Mackinnon said.

"I heard they’ve got some game, so it will be a good training session. It should be fun."

Sam, Adam and the Clippers will join forces at Immanuel Lutheran College, 126-142 Wises Road, Buderim, Queensland, on Monday 23 April 2007 from 6:00pm until 7:30pm.
