The All-Star Five is determined by a poll of the head coaches, assistant coaches and team captains from all WNBL teams at the completion of the regular season and aims to recognise athletes for their on court achievements

The All-Star Five is determined by a poll of the head coaches, assistant coaches and team captains from all WNBL teams at the completion of the regular season and aims to recognise athletes for their on court achievements.
Coaches and Captains are not permitted to vote for members of their own teams.
The All-Star Five:
Erin Phillips – Adelaide Lightning
Sharin Milner – Bulleen Melbourne Boomers
Carly Wilson – Perth Lynx
Natalie Porter – Sydney Uni Flames
Hollie Grima – Bulleen Melbourne Boomers
Erin Phillips – Adelaide Lightning
It is the third consecutive year Phillips has achieved All-Star Five selection. This season the 185cm guard netted 280 points at 16.5 points per game (7th in the league) and tallied 123 rebounds at 7.2 per game (9th in the league) over 17 league games.
She was also awarded the 2006/07 Golden Hands award (calculated by adding a player’s total number of assists to steals and subtracting the number of turnovers) after leading the league in assists (4.9 per game) and ranking 7th in steals (1.3 per game). She was previously named Nivea Player of the Week in round 6 and WNBL Player of the Month for November.
Sharin Milner – Bulleen Melbourne Boomers
This 26-year-old point guard was an outstanding floor general for the Boomers this season. She scored 301 points at 14.4 points per game (9th in the league) as well as contributing 82 assists at 3.9 per game (3rd in the league), 35 steals at 1.7 per game (4th in the league) and finishing 6th in the league for field shooting percentage at 50.2 per cent.
She was previously named Nivea Player of the Week in round 14.
Carly Wilson – Perth Lynx
Perth’s star off-season recruit scored 363 points in 21 regular season games at 17.3 points per game (6th best in the league) this season. She also contributed 136 rebounds at 6.5 per game, 50 assists, 31 steals and 22 blocked shots in 39 minutes per game.
She was previously named Nivea Player of the Week in round 2 and was recently announced by the Lynx club as Perth’s Most Valuable Player.
Natalie Porter – Sydney Uni Flames
This 185cm power forward has been in career best form this season, tallying 391 points at 18.6 points per game (2nd in the league), pulling in 166 rebounds at 7.9 per game (5th in the league) as well as ranking 6th in the league for total defensive and 7th for total offensive rebounds per game.
As well as ranking in the league’s top ten for most blocked shots, she added 58 assists and 13 steals in 21 regular season games. She was previously Nivea Player of the Week in rounds 1, 3 and 8 and WNBL Player of the Month for October.
Hollie Grima – Bulleen Melbourne Boomers
This 190cm centre finished as the league’s leading point scorer and the league’s leading rebounder, amassing 403 points at an average of 19.2 points and pulling in a season high 234 rebounds at 11.1 per game, including a league best 8.4 defensive rebounds per game.
Averaging 39.7 minutes of a possible 40 minutes per game on court, she posted 13 double-doubles (double figures in two categories) in 21 games and was named Nivea Player of the Week in rounds 3, 7 and 10. She was previously the defencejobs WNBL Player of the Month for December and January.
