BRNO (EuroLeague Women Final Four) - Belinda Snell had the best game of her career at just the right time for Australia. With the Opals trailing hosts Brazil 68-64 with less than eight minutes remaining in their semi-final at the 2006 FIBA World Championship for Women, Snell put her team on the way to victory. The guard buried a three-pointer and then made a lay-up to give Australia a 69-68 advantage. They led for the remainder of the contest and ultimately won 88-76 before thrashing Russia in the gold medal game. Now at French juggernauts Bourges, Snell looks like a player who gained a lot of confidence from the world title triumph. She was voted to the all tournament team at the EuroLeague Women Final Four over the weekend in Brno, the Czech Republic, where she spoke to FIBA.Com about life in France.
