For the third time this season, the Mexican powerhouse surpassed the 120-point mark, rolling past Paisas Basketball Club 125-72 to improve to 5–0 in Group A. The latest dominant display came in front of their home fans at Arena Astros in Guadalajara, Mexico. Previously, the Astros scored 123 and 131 points against Caimanes del Llano. Those three performances now stand as the highest-scoring games in the competition’s history.
Turning point
Astros were in control throughout, but they created a definitive separation from midway through the second quarter to the end of the period, putting together a 20–8 run to head into halftime with a 57–40 lead. The team continued to widen the gap in the third quarter and gave Paisas no breathing room, pouring in another 38 points in the final period.

Power forward Tyran De Lattibeaudiere stood out for the winners with 27 points on extremely efficient shooting (10-of-12 from the field), along with 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.
Trey Burke also delivered a strong performance with 23 points and 4 assists.
