    All systems go as rosters confirmed for the FIBA U16 Women's Asian Championship 2023

    AMMAN (Jordan) - All participating nations have submitted their respective rosters for the much-awaited FIBA U16 Women's Asian Championship 2023 this week.

    The 10-16 July competitions comprise 17 teams. Nine will be competing in Division A headlined by reigning two-time champions Australia, while eight will see action in Division B.

    The tournament tips off on 10 July, with Korea serving as the welcoming committee to the debuting Syria in Division A action taking place at the Prince Hamza Sport Hall.

    The top four teams at Group Phase's end will qualify for the crossover Semi-Finals, and will be the region's representatives to the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2024 in Mexico.

    It will be the same competition format for Division B, where the champion team will earn the coveted promotion to the topflight level for the U16 Women's Asian Championship's next edition.
