MVP Hoanan Li headlines FIBA 3x3 U18 Asia Cup's Men Team of the Tournament

    CYBERJAYA (FIBA 3x3 U18 Asia Cup 2017) - China rising star Hoanan Li was named MVP and joined Chen-Ya Chang (Chinese Taipei) and Faisal Abuissa (Qatar) on the Team of the Tournament.

    CYBERJAYA (FIBA 3x3 U18 Asia Cup 2017) - China rising star Hoanan Li was named MVP and joined Chen-Ya Chang (Chinese Taipei) and Faisal Abuissa (Qatar) on the Team of the Tournament of the FIBA 3x3 U18 Asia Cup 2017, which was staged in Cyberjaya on May 26-28 2017.

    The 17-year-old Hoanan Li led China all the way to gold in Malaysia. He was the top scorer with 9 points in the final against Chinese Taipei and finished 5th overall in scoring with 33 points.

    At 6ft 6in (1.97m), Li showed a lot of versatility inside and out of the paint and showed great instincts on the defensive end.

    Sharpshooters Chen-Ya Chang and Faisal Abuissa brought Chinese Taipei and Qatar silver and bronze respectively and finished 2nd and 3rd in scoring.

    Li and Abuissa will be two of the main players to watch again at the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup, which will be held in Chengdu, China on June 28 - July 2 2017.
