The Sunchales-based team claimed a 72-62 win at Belgrano to celebrate their 10th win in 12 first-stage games.
The best four teams from the northern and southern zones will advance to the second stage.
Regatas Corrientes edged out QUIMSA 82-79 to reach the 20-point mark in the northern zone, while Juventud Sionista saw off giants Atenas 78-76 and Central Entrerriano beat Ben Hur 86-84 to improve their records to 7-5.
Meanwhile in the southern zone, Quilmes and Boca remain level on an 8-3 record after their respective wins on Sunday.
Quilmes hammered Comodoro Rivadavia-based Gimnasia y Esgrima 84-65, while Boca overcame El Nacional 79-67 in Buenos Aires.
