MAR DEL PLATA (Liga Nacional) - Regatas Corrientes could hardly be in a better state of mind ahead of FIBA Americas League second round action.
The team, which will host Group F the weekend of February 11-13, beat two-time FIBA Americas League champions Penarol in an Argentina Liga Nacional showdown on Tuesday.
The performance has put Argentina international Federico Kammerichs (pictured), who had 18 points, in a very happy mood.
The Regatas Corrientes star woke up on Wednesday morning and immediately tweeted: "Good morning to everyone ... it's been a glorious week for Regatas.
"Three victories, and we beat one of the best teams in Argentina as the visitors and our court is going to be the site of the semi-finals of the FIBA Americas League.
"We have to keep on following this path."
Atenas de Cordoba lead the Liga Nacional standings at 8-2, followed by Penarol (6-4), Obras Sanitarias (6-4) and Regatas (6-5).
