SAN JUAN (FIBA Americas Championship) - Argentina coach Sergio Hernández has the dynamic duo of Luis Scola and Pablo Prigioni but he'll be missing several important players this summer when the national team attempts to qualify for the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey.

Hernández has finally named the group of players that will represent the country in Puerto Rico at the FIBA Americas Championship with Carlos Delfino, Andres Nocioni, Fabricio Oberto and Manu Ginobili unable to play this summer due to injury and health-related issues.

Scola is an international superstar who just finished his second year with the Houston Rockets while Prigioni has been a long-time guard of Tau Ceramica (now Caba Laboral).

Temple University standout Juan Manuel Fernandez will be a 13th man for Argentina but won’t be in the 12-man squad that competes in Puerto Rico.

Argentina are among the teams playing the Tuto Marchand Cup (August 18-20) in Puerto Rico to get ready for the FIBA Americas Championship.

Four teams will qualifying for Turkey 2010 in Puerto Rico.

Olympic champions Team USA won the gold medal at last year’s Olympics and qualified directly for the FIBA World Championship so they will not send a team to the FIBA Americas qualifiers.

Argentina squad: Juan Pablo Cantero, Pablo Prigioni, Paolo Quinteros, Diego García, Sebastián Matías Sandes, Federico Kammerichs, Luis Scola, Leonardo Gutiérrez, Leonardo Mainoldi, Andrés Pelussi, Román González and Juan Pedro Gutiérrez.
