    SANTA FE (Campeonato Argentino) - Reigning champions Capital Federal and Santa Fe continued their unbeaten campaigns in the Campeonato Argentino after claiming victories in the second round of fixtures.

    Capital Federal edged Salta 82-74 in Group A, Sebastian Acosta and Fernando Calvi netting 16 and 15 points respectively, while Lucas Gornatti contributed 13 points.

    Alvaro Castineira's team claimed their second win in a row after beating La Rioja 72-59 in their opener.

    Santa Fe, who defeated Salta in the opening round of action, continued to delight their fans at Regatas stadium after destroying Chaco 94-66.

    Also in Group A, Santiago del Estero thrashed La Rioja 84-65, with Bruno Ingratta top scoring with 20 points and Fabian Elias Saad
    contributing 16.

    Meanwhile in Group B, Cordoba and Entre Rios celebrated their second wins in the tournament.

    Entre Rios, managed by Martin Guastavino, relied heavily on an in-form Juan Pablo Cantero, as he poured in 32 points to defeat Buenos Aires 83-72.

    Fernando Funes netted 27 points and Rodrigo Alvarez added 18 to lead Cordoba to a 94-78 win over Rio Negro, who suffered their second defeat in as many games.

    Finally, relegation-threatened Tierra del Fuego surprised many at Gimnasia y Esgrima by clinching a valuable win over Misiones.

    Tierra del Fuego beat Misiones 91-81, thanks to Ariel Pau and Daniel Miranda, who netted 29 and 23 points, respectively.
