BUENOS AIRES (Liga Nacional) - Argentinian basketball has once again seen an increase in attendances this season.

The Liga Nacional attracted over one million fans this season to 1,028 games in the top three divisions.

After a 38% increase in 2004 and a 48% increase in 2005, this year's increase of 10% means it is three successive seasons heading in the right direction.

Some 611,760 people watched 398 top-flight duels and, as usual in Argentinian basketball, teams from outside Buenos Aires registered the most.

Regatas Corrientes were the best-supported team with an average attendance of 4,254, followed by Estudiantes with 1,755.
