BUENOS AIRES (Liga Nacional de Basquet) – Boca Juniors beat Obras Sanitarias 92-74 in the third game of their Reclassification Series to set up a quarter-final showdown with Libertad Sunchales.
Cedric Moodie scored 27 points and Gabriel Mikulas 23 for Boca who pulled away for good with a 30-9 third quarter.
Meanwhile, Estudiantes de Bahia Blanca beat Quimsa Santiago del Estero 84-70 to avoid being swept and keep their hopes alive as they trail 2-1 in the series. Michael Robinson and Reque Newsome had 17 points each in the winning cause.
Lanus also won their first game over La Unión de Formosa, edging them out 68-66 thanks to Terry Taylor’s 20 points and 15 by Sebastián Acosta.
Finally, Regatas Corrientes went up 2-1 in their series against Unión de Sunchales after an 85-71 win. Lucas Picarelli had 22 points and Juan Rivero 19.
