    ARG - Atenas confirm new president

    CORDOBA (Liga Nacional) – Antonio Jesus Garcia has become the new president of Argentinian giants Atenas. The 54-year-old, who worked last year as secretary for the Clubs Association, replaces Eder Baralle and has taken on a two-year term

    CORDOBA (Liga Nacional) – Antonio Jesus Garcia has become the new president of Argentinian giants Atenas. 
     
    The 54-year-old, who worked last year as secretary for the Clubs Association, replaces Eder Baralle and has taken on a two-year term. Carlos Boiero and Hector Audano will be the first and second vice-presidents, respectively. 
     
    The new board of directors confirmed that their main recruitment target is Boca Juniors and Argentina guard Paolo Quinteros. The team’s two foreign players for next season are expected to be Michael Fey, from Passing Lane, and Kenny Walker, from Alabama.

    Meanwhile, after hearing the General Assembly results, Diego Osella confirmed he will continue wearing the green-and-white. The 36-year-old is on course for his 17th season.
