MAR DEL PLATA (Liga Nacional) - The legends came back to play as part of the Liga Nacional All Star Game activities in Mar del Plata. The team of Marcelo and Pichi won in front of 6,000 fans.
It was a night to remember as each player was presented to the fans with their accomplishments and records. A total of 20 great players were presented during the game.
Their body was not the same but "the magic is never lost, said Michael Stura, President of the Player Association.
Marcelo Milanesio, seven time champ with Atenas, felt like the first game.
Along with Milanesio were figures like Eduardo Cadillac, Gustavo Ismael Fernández, Héctor Campana, Luis "Chuzo" González, Julio Ariel Rodríguez, Jorge Racca, Sergio Aispurúa, Luis Villar and Ariel Scolari for the white team. Miguel Cortijo, Marcelo Richotti, Ariel Bernardini, Raúl Merlo, Carlos Romano, Esteban Pérez, Adolfo Perazzo, Esteban Camisassa, Luis González and Diego Maggi, for the red. The coaches were Walter Garrone and Luis Martínez, Sebastián Uranga as assistant, the referees were Alberto Garcia (FIBA Americas Secretary General), Jorge Rubinsztein and Eduardo Alagastino.
The white team won 70-68 as Milanesio tied the game and Gallo Perez scored the three pointer later to win it in a night that the fans and players will never forget.
