MAR DEL PLATA (Liga Nacional) - The Liga Nacional All-Star Games begin this week in Mar del Plata city, Buenos Aires.
Five teams will take part in the two-day event beginning on Monday, with the feature star-studded game taking place on Tuesday.
The first day will see a triangular tournament involving the Second Division All-Stars, a Premiership team and the Young promises team.
The squads will each have seven players, all of whom were voted in on the All-Star Game's official website, www.juegodelasestrellas.com.ar.
Penarol's Carlos Romano will coach the Liga A team and Union's Osvaldo Arduh will be in charge of the TNA team. The Youngsters, meanwhile, will be coached by 2006 champion winning coach at Gimnasia, Fernando Duro.
The main All-Star Game between the Liga Nacional's team and the Foreigners will take place on Tuesday.
Oscar Sanchez, coach of second-placed Quilmes in the domestic league, will coach the Argentinian team, with former Real Madrid man Julio Lamas managing the team of the foreigners, who will be made up of players from United States, Paraguay, Colombia and Cuba.
