BORDEAUX (France) - Antwerp and Riga have their eyes on the Bordeaux Challenger in Bordeaux, France, on July 5-6.

BORDEAUX (France) - Antwerp and Riga have their eyes on the Bordeaux Challenger in Bordeaux, France, on July 5-6.

3x3 never stops and right after the Poitiers Challenger, the pro circuit stays in France, heading west to Bordeaux with two tickets available for the Debrecen Masters, which takes place on August 27-28.

    The favorites

World Tour 2020 winners Riga are the main favorites in the tournament and they need the win after a slow start this season (7th at the Utsunomiya Opener, 6th at the Ultra Novi Sad Challenger).

Nauris Miezis, who has more handles than an Ikea Store, will lead the Latvians as they pursue their first win of the season.

Also, Antwerp, featuring Must-See TV Thibaut Vervoort will try to forget the bittersweet memories of the Crelan FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2022, where they went all the way to the semi-finals but lost a cruel overtime game for the bronze medal against France.

But competition will be intense with Utsunomiya Masters 2022 runners-up Princeton as the 3rd seed looking to reach another final and the return of Lausanne Masters 2019 winners NY Harlem (USA), featuring 3 out of the 4 players from the USA team at the World Cup, including James Parrot, who provides highlights on repeat.
