[by Kris SANTIAGO] - Emanuel Neto and Divaldo Mbunga refused to join the ongoing national team preparations in Spain citing academic reasons.
Both players are currently attending summer classes in their respective colleges in the United States and won't be available for the national team this summer.
With the refusal of Miguel Lutonda to travel with the team to Spain, the number of players unavailable for Coach Carvalho roses to three now and could certainly affect the success of the Angolans in China.
In the meanwhile, Joaquim Gomes and Primero Agosto are close to reach a contract extension for another two years according to a source close to the team.
Miguel Lutonda renewed his contract for another two years already while players Olimpio Cipriano and Cape Verdean Rodrigo Mascarenhas extended their contracts for another year with the military club.
