Angola - Basketball Federation launches new competition
A competition called “Campeonato Esperanca” has been launched by the Angolan Basketball Federation, Angop learned from the general secretary of the institution, Tony Sofrimento. According to Tony Sofrimento, who was speaking at the end of a FAB meeting, the competition will start on September 15 this year, with the involvement of 20-22 year-old basketball players.

The source added that everybody has been informed about the programme and the beginning of the 2010/2011 season, as well as about the use of new International Basketball Federation (FIBA) rules.
