HAMBURG (Germany) – Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) captured the FIBA 3x3 Hamburg Challenger 2026 title after defeating Toulouse (FRA) 21-16 in a high-level Final on May 23.
With the result, Amsterdam RABOBANK, Toulouse and Aachen (GER) secured qualification spots for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Ulaanbaatar.
The Winner: Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED)
Amsterdam RABOBANK looked every bit like world-class contenders throughout the weekend and capped off their dominant campaign with an impressive title run in Hamburg.
The Dutch powerhouse opened the tournament with convincing victories over Los Angeles (USA) and Utrecht (NED) before surviving a dangerous Toronto (CAN) side in the Quarter-Finals. Amsterdam then turned up the intensity in the Semi-Finals, pulling away late from Fuengirola (ESP) behind another composed all-around display.
In the Final, Amsterdam once again showcased their trademark balance, physicality and shot-making ability. Jan Driessen delivered 7 points in the title game while Bryan Alberts closed the door late to secure the championship victory.
Superstar Worthy de Jong earned MVP honors after another elite performance on the Pro Circuit. The Dutch star finished with a 38.2 player value while also recording 32 total points and 7 free throws made.
It marked Amsterdam RABOBANK’s first Pro Circuit event win of the 2026 season and gave them much needed momentum heading into their next World Tour stop.
The Runner-up: Toulouse (FRA)
Toulouse once again showed why they remain among the most dangerous teams on the Pro Circuit.
Led by Franck Seguela and Hugo Suhard, the French side powered through pool play with wins over Bochum SPARKASSE (GER) and Marijampole MANTINGA (LTU) before cruising past Barcelona (ESP) in the Quarter-Finals.
Their Semi-Finals comeback against hometown surprise Aachen was among the defining moments of the tournament. Trailing 17-13 late, Toulouse closed the game on an incredible 8-0 run, which was fueled largely by clutch free-throw shooting, to escape with a dramatic 21-17 victory.
Although they fell short in the Final, Toulouse still secured a valuable FIBA 3x3 World Tour Ulaanbaatar qualification spot and further strengthened their credentials as one of the elite squads on the circuit.
The Final
The Final between Amsterdam RABOBANK and Toulouse lived up to expectations early as both heavyweights traded baskets in a tense opening stretch.

Amsterdam’s defense then tightened considerably while their ball movement continued to generate quality looks. They extended the lead to 17-10 with under five minutes remaining and never fully allowed Toulouse back into striking distance.
Toulouse attempted to rally behind Seguela and Suhard, cutting the deficit to 19-14 late, but Amsterdam maintained control under pressure. Bryan Alberts eventually delivered the final two points to seal a convincing 21-16 championship victory.
