FIBA AmeriCup 2017 competition schedule confirmed

SAN JUAN (FIBA AmeriCup 2017) - The finalized competition schedule for the Group Phase and Final Phase of the FIBA AmeriCup 2017 has been announced.

America’s premier competition will tip-off in the Coliseo Ivan Bedout of Medellin, Colombia, at 17:30 (local time) on August 25th with Puerto Rico taking on Mexico in Group A action. Group B action in the Estadio Osvaldo Casanova of Bahia Blanca, Argentina will commence on August 27th and Group C action in the Palacio Peñarol of Montevideo, Uruguay will begin on August 28th.

The Group Phase concludes on August 30, with the top team from each group and Argentina (As main organizer of the competition) advancing to Cordoba, Argentina for the Semi-Finals, on September 2. The competition concludes with the Final taking place on September 3 in the Orfeo Superdomo.
