TORONTO (FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018) – Canada Basketball revealed the 12-players that will represent the country during the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship, August 1-7 in Mexico City.

The team coached by Claire Meadows will begin the continental championship against Colombia in Group B action. The Canadians will then face El Salvador and Mexico, to close-out the Group Phase. Group A of the U18 Women’s Americas Championship is composed of Puerto Rico, USA, Argentina and Chile.
All the teams will advance to the Quarter-Finals on August 5. The Semi-Finals will be played on August 6 and the Final on August 7.
The top four teams from the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship will qualify to the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup.
