PEJA (Kosovo) - The FIBA Women's European Championship for Small Countries 2026 will take place in Peja, Kosovo.
The tournament will take place from June 23-28 as the teams battle it out for the right to be crowned champions.
Who is participating?
There will be six teams taking part in this year's competition, and they have been placed into two groups of three.
The Group Phase is as follows:
Group A: Albania, Georgia, Malta Group B: Armenia, Kosovo, Andorra
What is the schedule?
The Group Phase will take place across three days, with a rest day on June 26, before the competition moves on to the Semi-Finals on June 29.
The Final will take place on June 28, with the final Classification games also determining each of the eight positions.

Who were the winners in 2024?
Norway completed an unbeaten campaign by beating Malta 61-54 in the Final of the Women’s European Championship for Small Countries in 2024.
They were led by Aurora Sorbye, who recorded 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists as her nation secured its first-ever gold medal in the event, bettering its second-place finish in 2022. Tournament MVP Amber Melgoza put up a double-double of 16 points with 12 rebounds for Malta.
Albania clinched bronze with a 73-61 win over Cyprus.

Austria has five titles to their name, with Malta recording nine podium finishes and Luxembourg closely behind with eight.
