YEREVAN (Armenia) - International basketball's stars of tomorrow will compete for Division B glory and a place at next summer's FIBA U20 EuroBasket tournament - in one of 16 youth events taking centre stage this summer.
The tournament will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, from July 11-20.
Who is participating?
There will be 21 teams that will fight for the FIBA U20 EuroBasket, Division B title. They have been split into three groups of five and one group of six. The Group Phase is as follows: Group A: Slovakia, Great Britain, Croatia, Portugal, Bulgaria Group B: Ireland, Armenia, Montenegro, Estonia, Latvia Group C: Switzerland, Austria, North Macedonia, Netherlands, Georgia, Denmark Group D: Kosovo, Albania, Türkiye, Sweden, Hungary
What is the schedule?
The Group Phase takes place across the first five days of the tournament, with two rest days on July 14 and July 17. Classification games and the Quarter-Finals will begin on July 19 in the form of a bracket, followed by the Semi-Finals on July 19.
The Final will take place on July 20, and the Classification games will also determine each of the 21 positions.

Who were the winners in 2024?
Last year's hosts, Romania, secured their second Division B title by knocking off Ukraine 80-58 in Pitesti.
Denis Badalau led the way with 22 points and 6 rebounds; Andrei Oinaru scored 14 points, and Dragos Lungu chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Romanians also celebrated their third promotion to this year's showpiece tournament for this age group.
Pavlo Karasov scored 11 points in Ukraine's loss, but the team also gained promotion along with Finland, which beat the Netherlands 73-56 in the Third-Place Game.
Former MVPs
Romania's Dragos Lungu took home the Most Valuable Player award last summer after leading the hosts to an unforgettable title win in Pitesti.
Lungu collected 10 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in the hosts' win over Ukraine in the Final after two strong games in the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals. For the tournament the shooting guard averaged a solid 16.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 steals.

Roll of honor
The most successful sides in Division B are Poland, Montenegro, and Georgia - all two-time winners. Poland has the joint-most overall medals, with five. Czechia is not too far behind, as they have also reached the podium on five occasions.
