SKOPJE (North Macedonia) - With spots in next year's FIBA U16 EuroBasket up for grabs, the teams from Division B will all be fighting for those coveted spots.
The tournament will return to Skopje, North Macedonia, from August 7-16.
Who is participating?
A total of 22 teams will compete for the Division B crown. They have been split into four groups, with two groups of five and two groups of six. The Group Phase is as follows:
Group A: Sweden, Great Britain, Portugal, Montenegro, Austria Group B: North Macedonia, Slovakia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Poland, Ireland, Cyprus Group C: Netherlands, Denmark, Iceland, Croatia, Ukraine, Kosovo Group D: Belgium, Hungary, Czechia, Bulgaria, Norway
What is the schedule?
The Group Phase will occur across the first five days of the tournament, with a rest day on August 10. After a second rest day on August 13, the Classification Round tips off on August 14. The competition bracket will begin with the Quarter-Finals and end with the Final on August 16.
The classification games will also determine each of the 22 positions.

Who were the winners in 2024?
Estonia secured last year's FIBA U16 EuroBasket, Division B 2024 title after beating Romania 76-71 in the Final in Skopje.
Sten Adamson and Hendrik Pertel scored 15 each for the winners, but Rasmus Vuks posted the highest efficiency as he put up 14 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds.
David-Ioan Rasoga led Romania with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
Meanwhile, Switzerland took third place in the promotion game, beating Belgium in the decisive Third-Place Game to seal their place in this summer's showpiece tournament alongside the finalists.
Former MVPs
Estonia's Roman Avedjev took home the Most Valuable Player award at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2024, Division B, after leading his team to the title in Skopje.
The tournament's MVP earned his crown by leading Estonia to the title with a double-double on average - he posted 12.7 points and 10.4 rebounds per game throughout the tournament. He also swatted 2.1 blocks on average, where he led all the players at the event.
His top performance came in the Group Stage with 22 points and 12 rebounds against Ukraine.

Roll of honor
Germany is the only team to have won the Division B title three times - the most recent being in 2022. Following Germany, the most successful sides are Poland, Czechia, and Russia, who are all two-time champions.
