ULAANBAATAR (Mongolia) - The FIBA 3x3 World Tour continues its exciting 2026 season with a return to one of the sport's most iconic destinations as the world's best players descend on Mongolia for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Ulaanbaatar 2026.

Following an action-packed Women's Series stop, the spotlight shifts to the men's competition, where 12 elite teams will battle for the coveted title in front of one of the most passionate 3x3 crowds anywhere in the world.

Here's everything you need to know before the action begins.

    Where is the event?

    When is it?

The action takes place from June 27-28. The event will run right after the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Ulaanbaatar and Sukhbaatar Challenger stops, which means FIBA 3x3 World Tour Ulaanbaatar 2026 is the culminating event in a week-long celebration of world-class 3x3 basketball.

    Schedule:

🔸Saturday, June 27 - WT Qualifying Draw & Pool Games

🔸Sunday, June 28 - WT Knockout Round and Final

    How does the competition work?

The 12-team Main Draw is divided into four pools of three, with only the top two finishers in each group punching their ticket to the knockout phase.

From the Quarter-Finals onward, it’s win-or-go-home intensity culminating in Sunday’s Final. That means that every pool play matchup is a high-stakes battle for those limited playoff spots.

    Who won last year?

Liman captured the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Ulaanbaatar 2025 title after another outstanding performance on Mongolian soil. The Serbian powerhouse returns looking to successfully defend their crown against another stacked World Tour field.

    Which players should you watch?

There will be no shortage of star power in Ulaanbaatar. The tournament will feature many of the biggest names in 3x3 basketball. World No.1 Strahinja Stojacic headlines top seed Ub, while fellow Serbian star Andreja Milutinovic brings his trademark long-range shooting for defending champions Liman.

Germany's breakout sensation Niklas Kropp (Skyliners GER) and Amsterdam RABOBANK playmaker Maarten Bouwknecht are among the in-form stars entering the event, while Latvia's World Cup-winning duo Karlis Lasmanis and Nauris Miezis will look to continue their sensational form with Shanghai (CHN) and Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy, respectively.
