A stacked field featuring World Tour heavyweights, rising contenders and home favorites will battle it out in the latest stop of the 2026 Pro Circuit. Marseille will also host a FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2026 stop on July 3-4, making it a three-day celebration of elite 3x3 basketball.
Here's everything you need to know before the action begins.

France's second-largest city and one of the Mediterranean's most vibrant destinations, Marseille is renowned for its picturesque coastline, rich sporting culture and passionate fans. The city has become a staple of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour calendar, hosting the event for the fourth consecutive year and once again providing the perfect backdrop for a spectacular weekend of 3x3 basketball.

Who are the teams?
The 12-team field features a blend of established powerhouses, rising contenders and local hopefuls. Defending Marseille champions and World No.1 Ub (SRB) lead the way alongside in-form Liman (SRB), who have already captured two FIBA 3x3 World Tour wins this season.
Perennial World Tour contenders Antwerp (BEL) and Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) are also among the favorites, while WT Shanghai champions Hangzhou Jingwei (CHN) will look to prove their breakthrough triumph was no fluke. Home fans will be backing Toulouse (FRA) and Élancourt (FRA), while Spanish sides Fuengirola (ESP) and Barcelona (ESP), Lithuanian outfit Marijampole MANTINGA (LTU), American team Los Angeles (USA) and Bosnian side Zvornik (BIH) round out another deep and highly competitive field.

How does the competition work?
The 12-team Main Draw is divided into four pools of three, with only the top two finishers in each group punching their ticket to the knockout phase.
From the Quarter-Finals onward, it’s win-or-go-home intensity culminating in Sunday’s Final. That means that every pool play matchup is a high-stakes battle for those limited playoff spots.
Who won last year?
Ub captured the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Marseille 2025 title after continuing their dominance on the Pro Circuit. The Serbian powerhouse will once again arrive as the top seed and are eager to defend their crown.
Which players should you watch?
The tournament is loaded with star power.
World No.1 Strahinja Stojacic (Ub SRB) is looking to lead his team back to the top after a rare early exit in Ulaanbaatar. Fresh off an MVP performance in Ulaanbaatar, Stefan Milivojevic (Liman SRB) enters Marseille in red-hot form after guiding Liman to their second FIBA 3x3 World Tour win of the season.
Belgian star Jonaes Foerts (Antwerp BEL) has been one of the most consistent players on the circuit, while Evaldas Džiaugys (Raudondvaris Hoptrans LTU) hopes to spark a turnaround for the Lithuanian side.
Keep an eye, too, on breakout star Vuk Borovićanin (Hangzhou Jingwei CHN), home favorite Franck Seguela (Toulouse FRA) and Spanish standouts Diego De Blas (Fuengirola ESP) and Jaume Zanca (Barcelona ESP).

Why does Marseille matter?
Marseille has quickly become one of the most iconic stops on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour calendar.
The French city has embraced 3x3 basketball, consistently delivering a vibrant atmosphere and passionate crowds. With the race for World Tour points intensifying and several contenders still searching for a breakthrough title in 2026, every game in Marseille carries added significance.
For Ub, it is a chance to re-establish their dominance. For Liman, another win would further strengthen their case as the team to beat this season. Meanwhile, teams like Antwerp, Hangzhou Jingwei and Toulouse are all looking to make a major statement.
Marseille also marks an important point in the season, as it is the last stop before the World Tour takes a five-week break ahead of its return in Lausanne on August 14-15. That means the teams will head into the mid-season pause either carrying momentum or left with plenty of questions to answer, making a strong result in Marseille even more valuable.
