CHENGDU (China) – The FIBA 3x3 World Tour rolls into one of its most vibrant stops as Chengdu hosts a blockbuster weekend of action on May 2-3, alongside the Women’s Series Chengdu for a full three-day celebration of 3x3 basketball.

Where is the event?
The World Tour Chengdu 2026 will take place on May 2-3, following the Women’s Series Chengdu (May 1-2), at the iconic Jiaozi Music Square, located in the heart of the city’s bustling Wuhou district. This creates a packed schedule of elite 3x3 competition.
When is it?

Who are the teams?
A stacked 12-team lineup will compete in Chengdu. Serbian powerhouse Ub enter as the top seed, but all eyes will be on red-hot Liman, who arrive fresh off their title win at the FIBA 3x3 WT Utsunomiya Opener.

How does the competition work?
The 12 teams are split into four pools of three teams each, with the top two teams from each pool advancing to the knockout rounds.
From there, it’s win-or-go-home action leading up to the Final on Sunday. Every game in pool play is critical, with limited spots available in the Quarter-Finals.
Who won last year?
Lithuanian side Raudondvaris Hoptrans took the crown in FIBA 3x3 WT Chengdu last year, delivering a memorable run to secure the title at the 2025 edition.
A new champion will be crowned this time around.
