AMSTERDAM (Netherlands) - The FIBA 3x3 World Tour heads back to one of its most iconic destinations as Amsterdam hosts the latest stop of the 2026 season on June 19-21.
With elite teams arriving fresh off the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2026 and several contenders eager to build momentum in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2026 standings, fans can expect three days of high-level action at the NDSM Wharf.
Here's everything you need to know before the action begins.
Where is the event?
The FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam 2026 will be held at the NDSM Wharf at the Amsterdam-Noord borough along the IJ river.
Known for its vibrant culture, historic canals and passionate sporting atmosphere, Amsterdam has become one of the most recognizable destinations on the FIBA 3x3 Pro Circuit. The Dutch capital has hosted some memorable 3x3 basketball moments in recent years and is home to reigning Olympic champions Netherlands, making it a fitting stage for another elite FIBA 3x3 World Tour stop.
The event will run alongside the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Amsterdam stop, creating a three-day celebration of world-class 3x3 basketball at one of the city's most iconic waterfront venues.
When is it?
The action takes place from June 19-21.
Schedule:
🔸Friday, June 19 - WS & WT Qualifying Draw
🔸Saturday, June 20 - WS & WT Pool Games
🔸Sunday, June 21 - WS & WT Knockout Games & Finals

Sixteen teams will compete in Amsterdam, including several World Tour powerhouses and some of the biggest names in 3x3 basketball.
Top seed Ub (SRB) arrive looking for their second World Tour title of the season, while hometown favorite Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) hope to continue their momentum after winning in Vienna.

How does the competition work?
Six teams are split intwo two pools in the Qualifying Draw, where the top team from each QD pool will earn a spot in the Main Draw.
The 12-team Main Draw is divided into four pools of three, with only the top two finishers in each group punching their ticket to the knockout phase.
From the Quarter-Finals onward, it’s win-or-go-home intensity culminating in Sunday’s Final. That means that every pool play matchup is a high-stakes battle for those limited playoff spots.
Who won last year?
French side Toulouse (FRA) took the crown in FIBA 3x3 WT Amsterdam last year. They split their pool games before sweeping all their knockout games, including an overtime win in the Final against Liman (SRB), to emerge victorious.
Which players should you watch?
There will be no shortage of star power in Amsterdam.
Ub's Strahinja Stojacic returns after helping Serbia claim bronze at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2026 and will be chasing their second FIBA 3x3 World Tour win of the season.
Miami's James Parrott will look to bounce back from a disappointing FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2026 campaign with USA and guide his team to their own second FIBA 3x3 World Tour triumph of the year.
Fresh off leading Germany to a historic silver medal at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup, Niklas Kropp and Fabian Giessmann arrive in excellent form for Skyliners (GER) and Baskets Bonn (GER) respectively.
Home fans will have their eyes firmly fixed on Worthy de Jong after the Dutch superstar earned MVP honors while leading Amsterdam RABOBANK to victory in last week's FIBA 3x3 World Tour Vienna 2026.
Meanwhile, newly crowned FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2026 champion Karlis Lasmanis hopes to inspire Shanghai (CHN) to their first FIBA 3x3 World Tour title this season, while Nico Kaltenbrunner and Franck Seguela are both searching for breakthrough performances with Vienna (AUT) and Toulouse respectively.

Why does Amsterdam matter?
Amsterdam has become one of the most recognizable stops on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour calendar and consistently delivers a spectacular atmosphere.
This year's event arrives at a crucial point in the season. Teams continue to chas valuable FIBA 3x3 World Tour ranking points and momentum heading into the second half of the campaign. The FIBA 3x3 World Tour has also seen five different winners in the first five stops of the 2026 season. Will we see sixth team win in Amsterdam, or will any of the previous victors manage to earn a second FIBA 3x3 World Tour stop win?
For Amsterdam RABOBANK, there is additional motivation. The Dutch powerhouse will be seeking its first-ever FIBA 3x3 World Tour title on home soil after breaking through for its first victory of the season in Vienna.
With FIBA 3x3 World Cup stars, elite contenders and passionate fans all gathering at the NDSM Wharf, Amsterdam promises to be one of the highlights of the 2026 Pro Circuit.
