A preview of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam 2025 on May 17-18.

AMSTERDAM (Netherlands) - It's time for the World Tour 2025 to venture to 3x3 heartland in Europe, with the Amsterdam Masters fielding a rich slate of teams desperate for the title. Here is all the important information for the third stop on this season's FIBA 3x3 World Tour.

Where can I watch the WT Amsterdam? The action runs from May 17-18, and you can follow it live on the FIBA 3x3 YouTube, Facebook and Sina Weibo pages. Who is competing in Amsterdam? Nine of the top 16 teams in the rankings and a total of 12 squads: Amsterdam RABOBANK, Miami, Toulouse, Vienna, Riffa, Liman, Lausanne, Utrecht, Carolina, Hangzhou, Dusseldorf, Vracar What are the pools?

Who are the favorites? This is always very difficult to answer, but we just have to start with hometown heroes Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) who deserve top billing. With the hollering from their passionate fans ringing in their ears, the Dutch Masters will be extra determined to win their first title on the half-court they own after disappointing results previously at home.

Standing in their way of being the host with the most might just be their Utsunomiya Opener conqueror Miami (USA), who boast MVP Mitch Hahn and reigning AmeriCup MVP Henry Caruso.

Toulouse (FRA) have started well as a franchise with the artists formerly known as Paris already tasting success on the pro circuit and they are desperate to add a first-ever dub on the World Tour.

Vienna (AUT) love playing in Amsterdam having won the title in the world famous city in 2023. They again bring their A-Grade stars, including speedster Nico Kaltenbrunner who is ready to get back to doing trippy things on the half-court.

Riffa (BRN) make the cut of absolute contenders because they have two-way dynamo Dennis Donkor, who becomes Dennis the Menace every time he steps on the half-court.

But this draw is super loaded and we just have to give a shout out to legendary Liman (SRB), fan favorite Lausanne (SUI), emerging Dutch side Utrecht (NED) and in-form Hangzhou (CHN), who can absolutely go all the way.

Who are the players to watch?

Some of the top players on the planet are ready to put on a show and there will be more action than in Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning.

It's time for 3x3's heroes to step up and every list just has to start with 'Hype Worthy', especially when we're in his home country where he is a Dutch sporting legend. Worthy de Jong is determined to win the one thing missing from his bulging trophy cabinet and that spells trouble for opponents.

It won't just be de Jong putting on a show with his Paris Olympic rival Franck Seguela going up a level from his brilliant 2024 having already collected an MVP this season.

If you're wondering why there is an unusual early heatwave in Amsterdam then that's because sniper Antonio Ralat is on fire, while if you wanted to be left speechless then see what Swiss Maestro Gilles Martin can do with the Wilson in his hands.

There will be young superstars read to prove that the New Gen is more than capable of mixing it with the big boys.

New Dutch star Nesta Agasi has already collected plenty of body bags and so too rising Hangzhou sensation Aleksandar Lazic who started his World Tour career by taking the aerial flight to good effect and you better believe there are more rim-rattling dunks ahead in Amsterdam.
