SHANGHAI (China) – The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series 2026 reaches its climax this weekend as the world’s best women's 3x3 basketball teams converge on Shanghai for the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Project Redwings Shanghai Final 2026.
Eight teams will battle across two days, with the season’s ultimate prize on the line at the West Bund Artistic Center.

Where is the event?
The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Project Redwings Shanghai Final will take place at the West Bund Artistic Center in Xuhui District, Shanghai, China.
One of the world's great international cities, Shanghai combines a rich history and cultural heritage with a reputation as a global center for business, technology, tourism and innovation.
The event takes place in Xuhui, a district where history, culture, commerce and modern urban development intersect. The West Bund has become one of the city's major destinations for art, entertainment, technology and major events, making it a fitting setting for the Women's Series season finale.
When is it?
The FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Project Redwings Shanghai Final 2026 takes place on September 5-6.

Eight teams have secured their places in Shanghai after the Women's Series regular season.

1. Netherlands (NED) 2. Ulaanbaatar Amazons (MGL) 3. Rapid Bucharest (ROU) 4. Neftchi SOCAR (AZE) 5. France (FRA) 6. China (CHN) 7. Beijing (CHN) 8. Germany (GER)
Pools
The eight teams have been divided into two pools of four.
Pool A: Ulaanbaatar Amazons, Rapid Bucharest, China, Beijing
Pool B: Netherlands, Neftchi SOCAR, France, Germany
Both pools feature plenty of firepower, with Pool A bringing together the second- and third-seeded teams alongside both Chinese representatives, while Pool B pits top seed Netherlands against three top-flight European challengers.

How does the competition work?
The eight teams will first compete in pool play, with each team facing the other three teams in their pool.
The first-place team from each pool will advance straight to the Semi-Finals. The second-place and third-place teams form each pool will advance to the Quarter-Finals. From there, the competition becomes win-or-go-home.
The Quarter-Finals winners will face the teams already waiting in the Semi-Finals, with the winners advancing to the Final to battle for the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Project Redwings Shanghai Final 2026 crown.
Who won last year?
Canada (CAN) were crowned champions at the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Final 2025 also in Shanghai.
Canada defeated Azerbaijan (AZE) in the Final, while Netherlands claimed third place.
Shanghai is therefore no stranger to dramatic Women's Series action, and a new champion will be crowned in 2026.
The previous Women's Series Finals have also produced a who's who of 3x3 basketball champions, with Canada winning in 2025, 2023 and 2022, France triumphing in 2024 and Germany taking the title in 2021.
Which players should you watch?
The Shanghai Final features some of the biggest stars of the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2026.
The Netherlands bring the No. 1-ranked Ilse Kuijt and No. 2-ranked Noortje Driessen, while Neftchi SOCAR's Alexandra Mollenhauer arrives as the No. 3 player in the Women's Series.
Hortense Limouzin of Rapid Bucharest, Khulan Onolbaatar of Ulaanbaatar Amazons and Neftchi's Arica Carter are also among the players capable of taking over a game.
Germany's Marie Reichert, France's Marie-Eve Paget, Beijing's Zhang ZhiTing and China's Yang Hengyu round out a star-studded group of players to watch.

The FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Project Redwings Shanghai Final represents the culmination of the 2026 season. It is also the fifth Women's Series event held in China in 2026, following the Chengdu, Shanghai, Xiantao and Jinan stops earlier in the season.
