ALB - 2008 Olympic Solidarity Coaching Clinic reports

ALBANIA (Olympic Solidarity Basketball Coaching Clinic) – The Technical course for coaches was held in Tirana from 1 to 11 December, 2008. M. Tom Schneeman (USA/GER) was the expert who conducted the course as he had achieved excellent work and results over there in 2007. Twenty-four of the twenty-eight participants were involved in the 2007 course. The course was given at an intermediate to advanced level and interpreters helped the expert who taught in English. Tom Schneeman prepared 15 sessions, with most of them taking place on the court. Unfortunately no teams were available for the demonstration of exercises, which gave the opportunity to the attending coaches to be involved themselves. According to the expert, all the coaches were enthusiastic and eager to learn.
