BEIRUT (Lebanon) - FIBA Regional Office - Asia was notified GD-14 that the main hall at Sultan Qaboos Sports Stadium in Muscat, Oman, will be unavailable on 13 January 2025 for the scheduled game between Al Bashaer and Kuwait SC in the FIBA WASL Gulf League.
Despite subsequent communications and the proposal of an alternative venue, Al Bashaer was not able to secure a court that meets the required FIBA standards or Level 1 facility specifications.
Accordingly, the Al Bashaer Vs Kuwait SC game is forfeited. Consequently, Kuwait SC will be awarded two points while Al Bashaer will be deprived of receiving any points.
Al Bashaer will continue their journey in FIBA WASL – Gulf League with an away game against Bahraini club Al Ahli Club in Manama on Jan 20.
