    BAMAKO (Afrobasket Women) - Hosts Mali cruised to victory over Mozambique in a battle of unbeatens at the Afrobasket Women.

    Looking to reach the Olympics for the second time in a row, something they would do with a gold-medal win in this tournament, Mali won 73-43 to improve 4-0 and drop Mozambique to 3-1.

    Mali are alone at the top of Group A after their latest success.

    Angola, meanwhile, clinched their third straight triumph with a 67-60 win over Nigeria.

    Felizarda Jorge led the winners with 17 points and Angela Cardoso weighed in with 13.

    The Angolans had suffered a heavy defeat to defending champions Senegal in their opener.

    In Tuesday's other games, Cameroon hammered Guinea, 76-28, Ivory Coast romped to a 101-23 win over Ghana and Senegal defeated Rwanda, 71-61.

    With their victory, Senegal stayed undefeated and remained first in Group B with Angola second.
