The first eight African contenders are ready to start their race for one of the five places at the 2027 World Cup.

    RADES (Tunisia) - The final rosters for Window 1 of the 2027 FIBA AfroBasket were finalised on Wednesday evening in Rades following a FIBA technical meeting.

    From Thursday, November 27 through Sunday, November 30, eight teams split into Groups A and C will play 12 games in Rades, on the outskirts of Tunis, the capital city of Tunisia.

    Teams drawn in Groups B and D will begin their qualifying campaigns in Window 2 in February 2026.
