    ABIDJAN (FIBA Africa Champions Cup 2017) - FIBA Africa announced Rades (Tunisia) as the host city of the FIBA Africa Champions Cup 2017.

    The FIBA Africa Champions Cup (ACC), which is the premier men’s club competition on the African continent, returns to Tunisia for the first time since 2014.

    At the time, ES du Rades (Tunisia) claimed a Second-Place finish while Club Africain de Tunis secured the last spot on the podium.

    The 12-team tournament will take place from December 8-17.

    Throughout the ACC history, Angolan clubs have become the dominant force winning nine of the last ten editions. Petro Atletico de Luanda won the 2015 ACC edition in Luanda.

    Last years, Al Ahly became the first Egyptian team to win the competition in two decades after beating Angolan side Recreativo do Libolo 68-66 in the Final.
