KINSHASA (FIBA Africa Champions Cup Qualifiers) - Both Democratic Republic of Congo teams dominated Day 3 at the ongoing four-team FIBA Africa Zone 4 Qualifiers for the FIBA Africa Champions Cup (ACC) 2017 in Kinshasa.

While DR Congo champions New Generation saw off Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinea 48-41 - in what was the most balanced contest in Wednesday's FIBA Africa Zone 4 action - Mazembe followed suit by outscoring San Antonio 70-50.

And, as a result both New Generation and Mazembe share top of the regional qualifier with a 2-1 record each.

Malabo Kings are now 1-1 while San Antonio have conceded a second defeat in as many games.

In Thursday's only contest, Malabo Kings will take on fellow Equatorial Guinean San Antonio.

The two teams that finish in top two places of the competition will advance to ACC 2017 Finals in Tunis December 11-20.

Teams qualified so far include Angola's Sport Libolo e Benfica and InterClube, City Oilers of Uganda and hosts Etoile Sportive du Rades.
