Angola v DR Congo
...
Although Angola (3-0) have already qualified for the Quarter-Finals, they will try to extend their Group B winning streak to four games. But they will need to be able to stop 16-year-old Patrick Mwamba, who is averaging a tournament-high 21 points per game. The Democratic Republic of Congo (1-2) will enter the contest trying to bounce back from two straight defeats.
Benin v Uganda
...
What makes this game important is the fact that Benin (0-3) and Uganda (0-3) are chasing their first win in Group B. At first glance, the Ugandans look favourite not only because they average a tournament-best 41 rebounds per contest, but also because they tend to be more efficient at the offensive end of the floor.
Gabon v Cote d'Ivoire
...
Group A has been limited to just five teams following the Zimbabwe's last-minute withdrawal. With Gabon (0-2) and Cote d'Ivoire (0-3) yet to win a game, this is a must-win game for either team in order to improve their chances of moving on to the Final-Phase.
Algeria v Mali
...
Against all the odds, Algeria (2-0) are playing convincing and consistent basketball. They take on Mali (2-0) eyeing a place in the Quarter-Finals. The winner of this game will see their chances increased to finish top of Group A.
Egypt v Tunisia
...
The highly anticipated contest of the day brings two tournament contenders. In fact, this is a rematch of 2014 FIBA U18 Africa Championship Final. At the time, Egypt (3-0) prevailed, but the Tunisians (2-1) have arrived in Kigali looking to bounce back from that disappointment. If Egypt are to win Group B, they must beat Tunisia before taking on Angola on Wednesday.
